Railyard Pie Co.

Blueprint Process + Collateral

The Story

We had the honor of working with founder Lynn Muir and Happy Plate Concepts to build Railyard Pie Co., a brand that truly exemplifies her vision of sharing a slice of pie, spending time together and sharing her dream with the community.

The frame of the logomark is inspired by the iconic waves of a pie crust. Not only is it easily recognized, but the crust is what sets this brand apart. It’s the foundation of every pie they make. Established in the Edmond Railyard, below is the Brand Manifesto connecting the name to its emotional, nostalgic inspiration:

The sound of a train in the distance stirs a collective memory. The blow of the whistle. The click-clack of the tracks as it chugs along to its next destination. It’s a sound that crosses generations – the same one heard by our parents, grandparents, great-grandparents – one of the few visceral experiences that connects 20th century America to today.

Railyard Pie Company bakes memories into every pie. Inspired by the warm, friendly kitchen of founder Lynn Muir’s grandmother Mae, Railyard Pies are crafted with heart and soul. Love is a key ingredient, but it’s not a secret one. We speak the universal language of pie, and we view each one as a gift, each bite a celebration.

Life is both sweet and savory, and a Railyard Pie represents family, community, and togetherness, even when we’re apart. Disparate flavors combine harmoniously to achieve a more perfect union. There’s no scent as inviting as a freshly baked pie, with an aroma that calls to you, instantly summoning memories of joyful times, and promising that the best is yet to come.

So, grab a fork, find your seat, and take a bite. Happiness has arrived.
