COOP Ale Work's DNR, a belgian strong (and I mean strong!) ale, is a big hit with craft beer enthusiasts. With those fans in mind, COOP launched a line of DNR aged in different liquor barrels to impart unique characteristics to the beer. In designing the bottles we played up the idea of "cask" aging with a large casket shape, gave a small nod to early woodcut illustrations, and color coded the lineup for each barrel.
