Ready Player March at

To coincide with the release of Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of Ready Player One, the Tower Theatre in Oklahoma City screened movies throughout March of 2018. Many of which tied into the many references included in the easter-egg laden film which premiered at the end of that month.
We created a theme for the event entitled Ready Player March. Creating both a social media campaign (dubbing it "The Eyes of March" because we like puns!) as well as four fully illustrated posters highlighting the leading feature movies that were played throughout the event. The posters were tied together as a series in both composition and color palette providing a sense of unity to the otherwise diverse subject matter. Each poster features an iconic silhouette from the movie brought to life by the layout within. Plus, getting to design Blade Runner and Big Trouble in Little China posters was an opportunity we could never pass up.
